Bored of cooking at home? Want a change from your usual Deliveroo? Here’s all the reasons why the DBF think Digbeth is the best place in Birmingham for food!

Goodbye to your usual chain restaurants

If Pizza Hut is your go-to, why not try Baked In Brick’s pizza instead? Mad about McDonalds? Original Patty Men have got you covered. Not only will you get unique flavours you can’t find anywhere else, but you’ll be supporting amazing independent businesses too!

There’s loads of veggie and vegan options

It comes as no surprise that Brum’s creative quarter is ahead of the game for plant-based choices. Earth’s Kitchen is a delicious vegan cafe, who specialise in seitan. Rico Libre has a delicious meat-free menu, so you can enjoy a taste of the Med in the Mids.

The daytime choices are as good as the nighttime ones

If you work here in Digbeth, or are just stopping by for a day-out, the daytime options definitely won’t be a let down! Kanteen offers a quirky menu that will put your usual meal deal to shame, and Artisan Deli have a vast array of options to suit any lunch taste.

Picky friends? Don’t worry, you’re covered

Street food has definitely grown in popularity over the last few years – and we were one of the pioneers with Digbeth Dining Club, which has expanded across the Midlands. Our new favourite bars, Zumhof Biergarten and Luna Springs, offer street food stalls to go with your drinks, so you don’t have to choose the same as your mates (but you may be jealous of what they order!)

You can grab a bite to eat whilst enjoying the best activities

If you love board games, pop in Chance and Counters and order one of their delicious burgers to get your brain going. Once you’ve put on a good show at Ghetto Golf, try Locked and Loaded for twisted tapas and topped fries!

This is just a snapshot of our favourite eateries in Digbeth, but we would love to know where your preferred spot is – or if you just can’t choose! To keep up to date with the best of what the area has to offer, make sure you’re following us on Facebook and Twitter.
